1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Day One Circle ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform. These terms are a draft and subject to change before the official launch.
2. Description of Service
Day One Circle is a community platform that enables members to voluntarily sponsor other members' goals through equal, split monthly contributions. The Platform facilitates discovery, connection, and voluntary financial support between members.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use this Platform. By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.
4. Voluntary Sponsorships
All sponsorships made through the Platform are entirely voluntary. Sponsoring another member does not create any contractual obligation, promise of return, or guarantee of receiving support in return. Receiving support depends solely on other members independently choosing to include you in their circle.
5. No Guarantee of Support
Day One Circle does not guarantee that any member will receive sponsorship support. The Platform's role is to facilitate connections; whether you receive support depends entirely on the independent choices of other members.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: create false or misleading profiles; use the Platform for any illegal activity; harass, threaten, or abuse other members; attempt to game or manipulate the sponsorship system; create multiple accounts; or reverse-engineer any part of the Platform.
7. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or harms the community — at our sole discretion and without prior notice.
8. Payments (Coming Soon)
Payment functionality is not yet live. When activated, payments will be processed by a third-party provider (Stripe). By initiating a payment, you agree to their terms of service as well. All fees and billing terms will be clearly disclosed before any payment is made.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Day One Circle shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including loss of funds, data, or income.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of material changes via email or an in-app notice.
